CONTEXT

​Bunker is a short Level Design exercise made in Unreal Engine 5 I worked on to train my skills of making an interesting blockout for a walking sim. I was inspired by the "Whiteboard test" proposed by Robert Yang to evaluate a Level Designer level.
Therefore, I made 4 levels for the same blockout to show what each level does to enhance the experience.

Horror addition

I wanted to end the project at the Advanced level but then I wanted to put the blockout in a real situation with gameplay elements. Since the blockout was a bunker and had flickering light, I was inspired to make it a horror game.
I programmed some classic horror game elements (a monster trying to kill you, flashlight when it's too dark, running to flee the monster patrolling and crouching to hide from it).

I also implemented head bobbing, SFXs and post-process effects to reinforce immersion.
